I found my mentor to be very patient, and she maintains a listening ear. 

I was hesitant to do this mentorship, but Dr. Penny recognized my need for leadership training.

She was able to listen to my concerns without judgement. She really impressed me when at one point, she stopped in the middle of our study book to redirect me to address another area of personal need. She took the time to research material to help me to face my shadows.   After completing several weeks of reviewing that emotional area in my life, we returned to the original book reading, and I felt more sure of my calling to my ministry. I would be glad to recommend her to others.
